Bluegrass & Belly Laughs at Old Smoky Hoedown
Elwood Smooch’s Old Smoky Hoedown is not only the Smoky Mountain show you
come to the Smokies to see, it’s also the Travel Writers Smoky Mountain Show of the Year! Big belly laughs and little blessings are yours at the 2005 “Bright Side of the Road Show.”
Elwood Smooch, the most hysterical hillbilly in the Smokies, and his versatile, talented musical family invite yours to a down-home Americana Smoky Mountain variety show that goes straight to your heart. All ages will enjoy and be touched by blazing bluegrass, glorious gospel, talented kids, award-winning musicians, and the funniest show in the hills of Tennessee.
“Bluegrass Fridays” is a new weekly feature at the Old Smoky Hoedown. The best in traditional, new-grass, bluegrass, gospel, and young regional national acts will hold the stage and present the kind of music that the Smokies are famous for. This foot-stomping, hand-clapping hootenanny will be held each Friday through Thanksgiving.
